Hello, Parvati. Yes, I've pretty recently cleared my Medical Entrance Exams, and have joined RG Kar, Medical College Kolkata, as a first year MBBS student. In fact, today was only my 4th day there... I did have, Bio and Math both in 10+2. I appeared in ISC and had a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. To enclose an image as an answer, you can upload the image by clicking the picture tab, on the menu bar of the answer textbox. There you can browse for the image and upload it on Notemonk network. However, since much work is still underway, it might so happen that the service might trip, in that case, I recommend you upload the image somewhere else like picasa and paste the url of the image in the Notemonk Image upload window that appears when you press the image upload tab on the answer textbox. I take it you're studying in Class XI, which school are you from?

ok i tell u even i m a medical student,completed mbbs and now doen intenship frm NSCB med colg jabalpur. i recently got to come across dis site and my brother wanted to see if really members here can provide help wid solutions.he's not so well versed wid net and social networking so i opened d account myslf and asked d maths question on his behalf. got to see u solving maths questions yet a medical colg student so my brother and i were like confused. mus say u r really intelligent coz i hardly see ppl coping wid maths bio together and yet managing entrance into medical colg. so many many congrats on ur success colg mus hav started on 2 aug ,everywhere in india.even ours started on 1 aug. u doen a gr8 job helping out students here gr8 wishes

Thank you! But it looks like I missed by a LOT when I said you're studying in class XI... sorry...he he, especially since, you are my senior in Medicine! Actually, I only studied mathematics as it was a part of my curriculum, apart from that, I didn't have much interest in the subject, personally I didn't find much life in the subject... Medical Entrance Examinations are becoming increasingly difficult day by day, new concepts and new syllabi are only adding to the woes of us students. Fortunately, I had good teachers, who made even the most difficult parts, quite easy. On Notemonk, I intend to help students, as my teachers helped me. The Admins, Prashanth and Karthik, are really cool guys, I had been a big fan of Prashanth, since my class XI days, when he had come up with the idea of simplifying the NCERT online book concept; and when he started Notemonk, I knew I had to join it... Well, thanks again for the compliments, means a lot coming from a senior internee...! I'm sure your brother would find Notemonk fun and easy to use. As for me, honestly, the only thing that daunts me right now, is how to get past Anatomy...!

yes new concepts and new syllabi are smthing any medical student has to deal wid. even as we r preparing for pg entrance its very imp to be abreast wid d latest techniques and whats in. i m sure u'll do gr8 in medicine jus lik always.in our field the entire game is of memory.to know u have to read it and read it all and read it again and again.memorising things and retaining them and recalling them correctly wen required is d game!

NCERT books are available on Notemonk, on the Notemonk Homepage, you'll find a tab saying NCERT Books. Click on it. You'll be redirected to a page where all NCERT books are arranged in a class wise manner. Find the book you want and then click on it. In the Table of Contents, select your chapter and then ask the question in the textbox that comes. Don't worry its pretty simple, if you need any further assistance, you can post 'em on my or Karthik, or Prashanth's page...

My college starts tomorrow, life wouldn't be the same after that, I just hope I'm able to adjust to the hectic lifestyle which are required of a medical student, especially after this long hiatus from studies, in which I've only played Dragon Age Origins... Heardrun, will definitely go a long way with you two leading it, Notemonk has become quite popular with students, however, if you can find permanent answer contributors, it would become better, as students, would get their answers more quickly. As far as Science subjects are concerned, you dnt need to worry, I will continue to contribute answers, as best as I can, but what worries me, is that students are coming up with questions which are not particularly, 'scientific' namely from history etc. Of these subjects I know nothing of, I only wish I could help in these questions too. Its nice to hear that Prashanth has begun work on MCQ's its a wonderful idea, and would be of great success. I wish both of you all the best to, in your future ventures with Headrun and Notemonk.
