For a plane mirror: If object and mirror move away by 'd' distance(i.e if the distance between object and mirror increases to 'd' i.e either mirror or object can be moved)then the image move away by '3d' distance from the observer.
No! In a plane mirror the distance between the mirror and the object is the same as the distance between the image and the mirror... so the total distance between the mirror and the object into 2 will give you the distance between the object and the image!
